Aldersgate has a rich history of caring for elders. Our Methodist founders saw and fulfilled a need that is today a visionary nonprofit organization with a critical mission and vision.

We honor elders and are committed to creating and fostering diverse, caring communities where everyone has a voice and value.

We will strive to give the elders we serve their best possible day, each day, by creating fulfilling life experiences while partnering with others to form vibrant communities.

Ways to Give

Aldersgate is a nonprofit that welcomes gifts of all kinds. Whether it’s your time, a one-time gift, or planned giving support, your gift makes a difference in the lives of the senior adults at Aldersgate.

Aldersgate Financial Assistance Fund

For seniors on a fixed income, unplanned expenses can be especially difficult. Through this fund, Aldersgate is able to provide financial assistance to residents facing unexpected financial needs. To make a gift or learn more about the Aldersgate ministry to older adults, please visit donate or call our Director of Philanthropy Samantha Duncan at 704.532.5490.

Horizon Fund

Introduced in 2012, this unrestricted fund allows us to respond to life enrichment initiatives benefitting the residents of Aldersgate. Contributions to the Horizon Fund have so far been used to implement the It’s Never Too Late program in our memory support assisted living and skilled nursing units.

The Legacy Society

A planned gift is indeed a powerful legacy. Aldersgate continues to be at the forefront of elder care and the transformation of senior living. Your gift will provide care and a life of dignity as people continue to live longer lives than ever before.

One-Time Gift

We encourage you to take advantage of volunteer opportunities available on campus. Not only does it help us provide added services and activities for residents, it is a wonderful way to meet and form connections with seniors in our community.
